Together with my colleagues at UCI, we conducted a year-long, multi-case ethnographic study to understand how children select media content from a vast enormous and ever growing amount of online content. Using ecological perspectives, this study uncovers how children’s media choices are supported and constrained by a range of resource, culture, and policy factors specific to family and community background.
